1. What is SouqScan.com?
- SouqScan.com – the One Stop Information Shop – is a business information portal for the Middle East that effectively serves as:
- Business Directory for companies in the Middle East
- Classified Advertisement site
- Product information / survey site to help consumers in the region
2. How can I find a Product/Service/Company on SouqScan.com?
- SouqScan.com uses an extensive search facility to help you find product/service/company that you are looking for in the region or a specific city.
- To find for a product / service / company, type the name into “Find Product / Service” field and enter. The search will return results covering the entire SouqScan database.
- To search for a product / service / company in a city of your choice, select the city and country from “select your location” and search for product as above. The search will return with results from SouqScan database of the city.
- To find all listings under a specific category, select the category and enter.
- To find listings under a specific category in a particular city, select the country / city, and then run your search.
- To search for all listings in a city/country, simply select the country / city and run your search.
3. How can I list my business on SouqScan.com?
- To list your company/business with SouqScan.com, please select the “register” button and follow the simple steps for registration.
- Registration and listing will take less than 5 minutes.
4. How much does it cost?
- Basic membership and listing is FREE .
- Basic listing will include the name of your business, address, telephone / fax numbers and your business profile which is a brief description of your business activities, products and credentials.
5. What is Premium Membership and how does it help me?
- Premium Members can upgrade their company logo / picture, website address (URL), location map, advertisement and information pages to their listing. This allows them to differentiate from the rest of the crowd.
6. How much does it cost to become a Premium Member?
- For USD 70.00 per annum, you can upgrade your basic membership to Premium Membership.
7. How can I insert a Classified Advertisement?
- To insert a classified advertisement, select the category of your interest from the classifieds section on the main page which will take you to a simple registration process.
8. How much does it cost to place a classified advertisement?
- Classified listing is FREE . You can even upload photographs of the property / products you want to sell.
However, uploading photographs under Matrimonial category and uploading of resume/curriculum-vitae under situation wanted are paid options.
9. How long will my classified advertisement be on display?
- All classified advertisements will be on display for 7 days from the date of insertion, after which they are automatically deleted from our server.
10. Is it safe to pay online using my credit card?
- This site uses PayPal ® payment gateway with a128 bit SSL encryption - the highest available commercially.
- With over 100 million accounts all over the world, PayPal ® is claimed to be one of the most secure payment gateways.
- People living in certain countries may be required to sign up with PayPal ® to complete the transaction.
- You are encouraged and required to assess and evaluate the risks of paying online using PayPal ® before proceeding to pay.
- SouqScan does not capture / store / use your card details.

11. Can I use my Business Membership Username to log on to classified sections?
- No. Business membership username is used to log on to the business listings only. To log on to classified section, you have to register with classified section.
12. How authentic are the product information / survey reports?
- SouqScan does not guarantee / warrant the accuracy of the price, information, data or currency reported under product information / survey reports.
- Product specifications and prices are subject to market fluctuations.
- The user must verify the information / data before buying.
